Do you mean Cups?
Unlocking Leaf Cup: Complete Banana Cup and Shell Cup 3rd Place overall or higher.

Unlocking Lightning Cup: Complete Leaf Cup in 3rd Place overall or higher.
Special Cup: Complete Star Cup in 3rd Place overall or higher
Star Cup: Complete Flower Cup and Mushroom Cup in 3rd Place overall or higher. -
