Donkey Kong Country Returns: What are orbs?

I had this game for two weeks finished it and was taken to the volcano were I need six to eight orbs,what are ORBS,and where do I find them????????????????? Thank you any help would be great......!!!!!!!

I believe the orbs you speak of are collected by finishing the Key Temples. There is one temple in each world, and is unlocked by collecting the K-O-N-G letters in each level for that world. After collecting all 8 orbs from the Key Temples, return to The Golden Temple and it will unlock a final secret level!

The orbs are crystal balls. You collect them by finishing the bonus level in each world--the Key Temples. For example, to get the first crystal ball, complete level 1-K. It is located to the north of level 1-2. You will need all eight crystal balls to unlock the door to get into the Golden Temple at the end of the game.

Yeah, just to emphasize... you need to collect all four K O N G letters in each area to unlock the Key Temples.
